July 12, 2023, “ Spectrum Materials - Qingyuan Innovation Laboratory Electronic Special gas and New materials Engineering Technology Center ” Officially unveiled. The center aims to make full use of the application layout of Bochun materials, business projects, market information and Qingyuan Innovation laboratory's technology, achievements, talents and information resources, and jointly carry out cooperation matters such as joint center platform construction, scientific and technological project cooperation, talent training and introduction.

Qingyuan Innovation Laboratory (China Fujian Chemical Engineering Science and Technology Innovation Laboratory) was established in September 2019, led by Quanzhou Municipal People's Government and jointly built by Fuzhou University and Sinochem Energy Co., LTD. (including its subsidiary Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., LTD.). The laboratory has a research base of 140,000 square meters and a pilot plant of 8,000 square meters. There are 8 national talents, 8 provincial talents, 8 high-level scientific research teams settled in the laboratory park, and nearly 400 scientific research personnel resident in the laboratory park, including 89 full-time scientific research personnel and management personnel, and more than 300 doctoral and master students.

Laboratory adoption “ Co-construction of provinces and cities, based on the city ” According to the strategic layout of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and provincial government, it carries out scientific basic research, innovative technology research and industrial application research around the five key directions of catalytic science and technology, synthetic materials, fine chemicals, environmental protection and safety technology, process and product engineering.
